THE IMPACT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ARTISTIC DISCIPLINES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIO-CULTURAL SPHERE OF THE CHERNIHIV REGION

Abstract

The article reveals the main areas of activity of the Department of Artistic Disciplines of the T.Н. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium» and describes its impact on the sociocultural sphere of Chernihiv region; emphasizes the role of the department in the implementation of the university's public function; analyzes the impact on science, education, and artistic activity in the region, and determines the practical results of scientific research and artistic and creative activity in the development of the socio-cultural sphere of the region.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the impact of the Department of Artistic Disciplines on the socio-cultural sphere of the Chernihiv region and to determine the main results of this impact.

Research methodology. The study uses general scientific methods: analysis of various types of activities of the department, description of influences, systematization of the results of influences; methods of ascending from the specific to the general, systematization and generalization – for understanding and interpreting the results obtained.

The scientific novelty of the publication lies in determining the directions of influence of the activities of the Department of Art Disciplines on social transformations in the Chernihiv region, describing the results of this influence, which is being done for the first time with an emphasis on the public function of the National University «Chernihiv Colehium».

Conclusions. The scientific, research, educational, and artistic activities of the Department of Artistic Disciplines are aimed at fulfilling the public function of the T.H. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium». The department's activities have a practical impact on the socio-cultural sphere of the Chernihiv region, contributing to the development of arts education, the implementation of the latest technologies in arts education, the implementation of arts and educational projects, and the promotion of the best regional artistic traditions in the artistic environment of other regions.
