IMPLEMENTATION OF NATO STANDARDS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NAVAL EDUCATION OF ROMANIA AND UKRAINE IN THE XXI CENTURY

Abstract

The aim of the article is to analyze the implementation of NATO standards through the development of naval education in Romania and Ukraine in the 21st century.
It is outlined that the achievement of this goal was carried out using research methods: theoretical methods (analysis and synthesis; abstraction; concretization) which allowed to explain, interpret the obtained practical knowledge, as well as empirical methods (observation, generalization, analysis), which allowed to accumulate, record, to classify and generalize the
received practical material.
It is determined that the scientific novelty of the article is that for the first time the issue of implementation of NATO standards is considered by analyzing the development of naval education in Romania and Ukraine in the XXI century.
The study notes that thanks to Romania’s highly efficient higher education system and high academic standards, doubled its diverse opportunities for education and employment, Romania is becoming an attractive destination for international students. The training of Navy officers in higher education institutions is characterized by a number of characteristics that determine the
relevance of developing the problem of forming readiness for professional activity.
The study concludes that intergovernmental agreements are important, which determine the legal basis for military-technical, practical, educational cooperation between the two countries, which simplifies the procedure for implementing state measures in relevant areas, as well as expands the partnership between Ukraine and Romania, aimed at strengthening security in the
Black Sea region. The implementation of NATO standards through the development of naval education in Romania and Ukraine in the 21st century is possible on the basis of direct practical training of higher education seekers.
Prospects for further exploration are to outline the conditions for the development of naval education through Ukraine’s cooperation with other NATO member countries in the Black Sea region.
