Abstract

The article analyzes the acquisition by applicants of education in institutions of postgraduate education of knowledge on financial literacy by means of the digital economy.
The purpose of the study is to determine the features and directions for improving the level of financial literacy of applicants for education in postgraduate education institutions by means of the digital economy.
Research methodology. The article uses the analysis of scientific sources at the philosophical and general scientific levels of knowledge. The methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach to analysis, pedagogical research on the development of the digital economy in postgraduate education institutions. The research methodology made it possible to determine and justify the impact of the digital economy on the quality of teacher training in postgraduate education institutions.
The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the fact that the use and influence of the digital economy on the improvement of teaching in order to improve technologies in the educational process of postgraduate education institutions is substantiated.
The study allows us to conclude that the professional training of teachers in the system of professional development in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education, in particular in financial literacy using the digital economy, is an important factor in professional growth and a resource for their practice. Improving the content of this process should become one of the priority areas of the educational process in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education.
It has been proven that the knowledge and skills of financial literacy gained by teachers during professional development using the digital economy should be considered as a factor in their growth. Only financially literate and competent teachers can nurture innovative entrepreneurs, investors, conscientious taxpayers, and successful financially literate citizens.
