Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of the creative development of the personality in the educational process by means of normative and selective educational components (on the example of professional training of future teachers at T.H. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium»).

Methodology. During the study, the following methodological approaches were taken into account: axiological, personally oriented, competency-based. A number of methods were applied, in particular: analysis (for processing scientific literature on the issue under study) and synthesis (for organizing the selected material); comparative – for clarifying the scientific position of individual scientists on the problem under study; systematization and generalization – for formulating conclusions; observation of the educational process, surveying applicants and teachers in order to study the current state, experience and prospects of the formation of creativity of future teachers in the process of professional training; modeling fragments of classes and developing individual tasks to formulate methodological recommendations for the formation of creativity of applicants for higher education.

Scientific novelty. The article substantiates the theoretical and methodological aspects of the creative development of the personality in the educational process by means of normative and selective educational components (on the example of professional training of future teachers at T.H. Shevchenko National University «Chernihiv Colehium»).

Conclusions. It was found that the creativity of the personality is the ability to generate new, original ideas and solutions, deviating from standard patterns of thinking, and to implement them in life, which is key for creative self-realization and problem solving. It should be purposefully developed within the educational process of higher education institutions by means of normative («Pedagogy», «Methodology of scientific research», «Pedagogy of higher school») and selective («Creative development of the personality in the educational process», «Pedagogical conflictology», «Pedagogy of higher, professional pre-higher education») academic disciplines. It was found that the following methods are effective in the process of developing the creativity of future teachers: the method of synectics, the method of inventing, the method of «If ...», the method of hyperbolization, the method of figurative painting, the method of agglutination, the method of «brainstorming», the method of morphological box, and functional analysis, as well as the method of solving learning situations and the SCAMPER method.
