EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF SCIENTIFIC OUTREACH EVENTS BASED ON THE OLEKSANDR MURASHKO’S WORK IN TEACHING SOCIO-CULTURAL TECHNOLOGIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The article examines the topical issues of conceptualization and practical implementation of innovative methods for the artistic memorialization of the prominent Ukrainian artist end educator Oleksandr Murashko within the modern educational space of higher education institutions. The relevance of the study is driven by the need to find new effective tools for revitalizing national memory and overcoming post-colonial narratives in the humanities training of future specialists. The theoretical background of the research is based on Aleida Assmann’s concept of cultural memory, which allows for the transformation of academic knowledge of cultural heritage into a living performative experience. This enables students not only to master factual material but also to form their own value positions through direct participation in the design and implementation of scientific outreach events. The focus of the study is the synthesis of traditional art history with the latest event technologies, ensuring deep immersion of youth into the intellectual context of Ukrainian modernism and the biographies of its artists, whose fates became a tragic prologue and foundation for the future cohort of the «Executed renaissance».
Purpose is to theoretically substantiate the educational potential of scientific outreach evens based on the O. Murashko’s artistic heritage and to reveal the methodological principles of their use in teaching socio-cultural technologies within the higher education system.
Methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines art history analysis of O. Murashko’s heritage with pedagogical modeling of the educational process. A complex of theoretical (source studies, comparative, and terminological analysis) and practical (socio-cultural activity design, event modeling method) methods are applied. Particular attention is paid to axiological and activity-based approaches, which allow for considering the artist’s work as a value resource for forming students’ professional competencies through interactive forms of work and theatrical volunteering.
Scientific novelty lies in the theoretical substantiation of the concept of artistic memorialization of O. Murashko as an educational resource in the higher school system. For the first time, a methodology for combining scientific outreach events and socio-cultural practices, specifically theatrical volunteering, is revealed for the formation of students’ ethical and aesthetical consciousness during the study of humanities.
Conclusions. The integration of Oleksandr Murashko’s figure into the plane of humanities disciplines ensures a transition from passive acquisition of biographical data to active sociocultural design. The effectiveness of the performative memorialization model is proven; through the synthesis of archival research, theatrical practices, and scientific outreach events, it contributes to the revitalization of national memory and the formation of professional competencies of future specialists in the modern educational space.
