Abstract

The article substantiates the possibilities of using digital technologies in pedagogical counseling of future specialists in vocational education institutions. The essence of pedagogical counseling under the conditions of digitalization of vocational education is revealed, and its functions, principles, and forms of implementation are determined. Modern digital tools used in the teacher’s counseling activities are analyzed. It is proved that the integration of digital technologies contributes to improving the quality of professional training of students.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the expediency of using digital technologies in pedagogical counseling and to determine effective forms of their application in vocational education.

Methodology. In the course of the research, a complex of general scientific and pedagogical methods was applied. In particular, an analysis of scientific publications and electronic resources devoted to the problems of using digital technologies in pedagogical counseling and vocational education was carried out. The generalization and systematization of theoretical developments made it possible to identify key approaches to the implementation of digital tools in the teacher’s counseling activities and to substantiate the organizational and methodological principles of their application in the process of training future specialists.

The scientific novelty lies in substantiating the expediency of integrating digital technologies into the process of pedagogical counseling of future specialists in vocational education institutions. The content and functions of pedagogical counseling in the context of the digitalization of the educational environment have been clarified, and its main principles have been determined taking into account modern requirements for the professional training of students. A generalized characterization of the forms and means of digital pedagogical counseling adapted to the conditions of vocational education has been proposed. 

Conclusions. Pedagogical counseling of future specialists in vocational education institutions is an effective mechanism for improving the quality of professional training and developing key competencies. The integration of digital technologies into the counseling process ensures accessibility and flexibility of interaction between the teacher and the student, promotes the organization of distance and blended forms of support, and provides individual recommendations.

The use of digital tools stimulates the development of independence, critical thinking, self–control skills, and collaborative work among students; creates conditions for the implementation of individual educational trajectories, increases learning motivation, and forms responsibility for the results of professional activity.
