Conclusions. Art therapy is one of the effective methods for developing a well-rounded student personality. It helps increase interest in learning activities, fosters the development of creative potential, and supports the establishment of social connections. In times of war, the use of art therapy elements by teachers in working with younger students makes it possible to create safe and psychologically comfortable conditions, maintain a sense of control, and restore students’ psycho-emotional state. Therefore, preparing future teachers to use art therapy elements in their work with students is an important component of their professional training. The preparation of future primary school teachers to use art therapy elements in «Design and Technology» lessons should be carried out through a combination of comprehensive training based on core disciplines taught in higher education institutions and specialized training, which is based on elective courses with an art therapy focus. Training future primary school teachers to use art therapy elements in these lessons involves mastering art therapy knowledge that provides a holistic understanding of art therapy, its possibilities, and the specifics of its implementation in the primary school educational process; as well as developing skills in working with artistic materials using various techniques applied in art therapy. It is important to foster a positive attitude toward art therapy among future primary school teachers and motivate them to implement its elements in the primary school educational process. The effectiveness of using art therapy elements largely depends on psychological readiness for such work, which primarily involves changing existing stereotypes and forming a new pedagogical mindset, focusing on the key principles of the New Ukrainian School concept and the challenges of the modern world.
