Abstract

The relevance of the topic of our research is due to the fact that today Ukraine needs masters-professionals in the social sphere. And one of the first Ukrainian philosophers who developed and implemented in Ukraine the general civilizational principles of existence for man and society was M. Mykhalchenko. It was he who, with his socio-philosophical works, paved the way for high social standards of life of the Ukrainian person and the state. At the same time, M. Mykhalchenko logically combined two important arguments: a philosopher-scientist theorist and an administrator-practitioner, head of the internal policy service under the President of Ukraine. Therefore, master's degree applicants, studying the scientific and theoretical achievements of M. Mykhalchenko in the field of social philosophy and enriching their professional competencies on its basis, have every opportunity to implement in practice the thinker's socio-philosophical ideas aimed at the civil unity of Ukrainians, their social harmony, and progress. In this theoretical and practical process of formation and assimilation of professional competencies by master's degree applicants, a key role is played by their understanding of the development and historical progress of the Ukrainian people, their social culture, pluralism, tolerance and understanding of modern new social realities.

The professional competencies of a modern social philosopher should be based on the kaleidoscopic diversity of world and Ukrainian socio-philosophical approaches to problems, methods and methodologies for solving them, theoretical constructions of overcoming risks in social and state functioning. It is the people of Ukraine that are the main subject of all socio-historical processes that have taken place and are taking place on the territory of our state, without exception.

Highlighting this fact, M. Mykhalchenko, both individually and in co-authorship with other Ukrainian philosophers, gave Ukraine and the world a large number of socio-philosophical articles, textbooks, and monographs. Thanks to these works, today's master's students-philosophers received a «life-giving source» for the formation of their professional competencies in social philosophy. After all, everything that was written by M. Mykhalchenko and his co-authors social philosophers, and this is a huge body of scientific and philosophical works dedicated to social philosophy and the history of its formation in Ukraine, remains significant and relevant today.

For higher education graduates of the master's degree in philosophy and his further work in the field of social philosophy, scientific and philosophical ideas and social and philosophical projects initiated by Professor M. Mykhalchenko today continue to be relevant, valuable and significant in terms of the formation and assimilation of professional competencies by young people. After all, the theoretical and practical experience of M. Mykhalchenko, which found its reflection in his work, is a specific «social treasure» for modern young philosophers-masters, who, like a sponge, absorb all the ideas of the Ukrainian thinker, increasing their professional level. It was the creative work of the thinker that directed us to a painstaking scientific and philosophical analysis of his thoughts, ideas and conceptual positions in the field of social philosophy, which, in our opinion, affect the formation of professional competencies of higher education graduates of the Master of Philosophy.

The purpose of the work is to analyze the most effective and relevant socio-philosophical ideas of M. Mykhalchenko, which are aimed at forming professional competencies of higher education graduates of the Master of Philosophy, which are consistent with the modern socio-philosophical development of the state of Ukraine.

The methodological basis is a whole range of socio-philosophical ideas and concepts of Professor M. Mykhalchenko, which he wrote specifically for young higher education graduates in Ukraine. And they, in our deep conviction, form the professional competencies of a social philosopher, thanks to a solid foundation anchored in the civic unity of Ukrainians, their social harmony, and social progress. It is on this basis that the Ukrainian socio-philosophical culture of youth grows and develops and is consolidated as a social tradition, and over the years it becomes a social value for the entire population of Ukraine. At the same time, philosophers have always considered the presence of freedom of choice for people to be a positive and key basis for the free social development of society.

The scientific novelty of our study lies in the fact that the practical benefit and expediency of using M. Mykhalchenko's socio-philosophical ideas and conceptual provisions in the educational process when the professional competencies of higher education graduates of philosophers-masters are being formed have been clarified. Besides, their future work will be connected with the socio-philosophical issues of the Ukrainian person as a subject of the socio-historical process in our state Ukraine. After all, M. Mykhalchenko, in his teaching work with higher education graduates, focused the audience's attention on the social issues of human existence in Ukraine. Because it is the person who plays the role of the founder and bearer of the socio-cultural values and traditions of his people, preserves, cherishes and passes them on from generation to generation. Therefore, in our opinion, the scientific novelty of this research is associated with the significant influence of M. Mykhalchenko's works on the process of forming professional competencies of master's students. The thinker placed significant emphasis in his works on the need for Ukrainians to freely choose their trajectory of socio-political development. M. Mykhalchenko saw a positive role in the personal social orientation of Ukrainian youth, who feel their responsibility for fulfilling the necessary social norms and rules of life in a state where certain social standards operate, the observance of which is directly related to the functioning of social institutions in the state of Ukraine.

Conclusions. The research we conducted is aimed at highlighting and analyzing the most effective and relevant socio-philosophical ideas and concepts of M. Mykhalchenko today, which are aimed at developing, forming and mastering professional competencies by applicants for a higher education master's degree in philosophy in the field of social philosophy. After all, it is the socio-philosophical ideas and concepts of the thinker, as noted by researchers of his works, that are consistent with the modern socio-philosophical development of both the state of Ukraine and the states of Europe.

The socio-philosophical works of M. Mykhalchenko, in our deep conviction, not only form the professional competencies of graduate students, but also act as an argumentative basis for Ukrainian socio-philosophical thought, which directs Ukrainians to civil unity, social harmony and social progress.

Therefore, relying on the socio-philosophical ideas of our outstanding domestic thinker, Professor Mykola Ivanovich Mykhalchenko. Master's students of higher education institutions in Ukraine will be able to obtain professional competencies in the field of social philosophy with the full range of philosophical approaches, socio-philosophical methodologies and theories. At the same time, thanks to the works of the thinker, they will have a specific socio-philosophical orientation, which will aim them to adhere to universal human priorities and values that are the basis of personal growth of a person in society and the state of Ukraine.

After all, as we have studied, analyzing the works of the thinker, all of M. Mykhalchenko's activities were aimed at substantiating the optimal ways and means of observing social justice in Ukrainian society, supporting civil harmony, achieving and consolidating high social standards in the state of Ukraine.

In terms of forming professional competencies of masters in social philosophy, M. Mykhalchenko's emphasis on the study by students of the issues of the social and cultural revival of the Ukrainian people and the involvement of a wide range of young scientists in research work aimed at highlighting national socio-philosophical traditions is significant. In this process, M. Mykhalchenko highly appreciates the key role of Ukrainian thinkers from ancient times. It is in their works, according to M. Mykhalchenko, that the fundamental ideas that were aimed at building the state, developing the culture of social relations, and regulating social processes are contained.

The thinker believes that «The Teachings...» by Volodymyr Monomakh, «The Truth of Yaroslav» and other works of Kyivan Rus were the first philosophical-educational and socio-philosophical guidelines for our people. M. Mykhalchenko also notes the constitution of the Cossack Republic of Pylyp Orlyk as one of the first documents among European countries that recorded the granting of freedom to people in a broad philosophical sense.

Therefore, for applicants for higher education in the Master of Philosophy, there is a socio-philosophical source base from previous centuries of Ukraine's development, which radically strengthens the process of forming their professional competencies. In this regard, among the thinkers-philosophers whose works should be studied by Ukrainian students, M. Mykhalchenko notes the key role of: Н. Skovoroda, T. Shevchenko, M. Dragomanov, S. Podolinsky, M. Ziber, I. Frank, M. Hrushevsky, V. Vynnychenko and many other Ukrainian luminaries of national philosophical thought.
