INFLUENCE OF CONTEMPORARY CLASSES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF COORDINATION SKILLS IN GIRLS OF 7–9 YEARS OLD

The aim of the work is to theoretically substantiate the influence of contemporary classes on the development of coordination qualities in girls aged 7–9 years.
Methodology. To solve this problem, the following research methods were used: analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological sources, best practice experience, and observation, which makes it possible to find out the current state of theory and practice of organizing and conducting contemporary classes in clubs and out-of-school education institutions, to systematize and summarize information about the object under study.
The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time the influence of contemporary classes on the development of coordination skills in girls aged 7–9 years was theoretically substantiated.
Conclusion. As a result of the analysis of scientific and methodical literature and observation, we can state that contemporary classes contribute to the development of coordination qualities in girls aged 7–9 years due to the combination of different styles of dance with their specificity of performance, basic movements from classical dance and modern, improvisation with various movement tasks, and with a sense of control of their body to various musical accompaniment and without it.
The proposed methodological recommendations will contribute to the development of coordination qualities of girls aged 7–9 years in modern dance classes, provided that they are systematically and integrally used.
