Abstract

The article examines the modern aspects of the use of information and communication technologies in the process of distance learning for students of higher education. Information and communication technologies increase the possibilities of setting educational tasks and managing the process of their implementation and allow quality control of the activities of higher education seekers, while ensuring the flexibility of managing the educational process.
Article's purpose of the work is to increase the interest of students of higher education in new modern methods of distance learning and the use of information and communication technologies in the educational space.
Methodology. A survey was conducted among students of higher education in the first and second years of the faculty of physical education and arts, specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sport. Students of higher education studied remotely for four months on several modern online platforms that gave certain results.
Scientific novelty is that the method of applying information and communication technologies in the educational process of higher education applicants is theoretically substantiated and developed.
Conclusions. According to the students of higher education, thanks to the use of modern information and communication technologies, the learning process becomes more accessible, which makes it possible to influence the level of their knowledge in the process of distance education. Therefore, the use of remote educational technologies in the educational process of the Municipal Establishment «Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy» of Kharkiv Regional Council significantly expands the methods and forms of organizing students' independent individual and group activities, which becomes an addition to the traditional ones. And information and communication technologies, which are implemented in the distance learning environment of the academy, provide an opportunity for those seeking higher education to implement the requirements of a competent approach in education.
