FEATURES OF WORK OF METHODOLOGICAL ASSOCIATIONS OF PEDAGOGICAL WORKERS OF PRESCHOOL INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINIAN SSR IN THE 50-60-s OF THE 20TH CENTURY

The article deals with defining the features of work of methodological associations and their role in improving the qualifications of pedagogues of preschool sphere.
The purpose of the article is to characterize the features of work of methodological associations of pedagogical workers of preschool institutions of the Ukrainian SSR in the 50-60-s of the 20th century.
Methodology. During the coverage of the features of work of methodological associations of pedagogical workers of preschool institutions of the Ukrainian SSR in the 50-60-s of the 20th century, a number of methods were used that contribute to the awareness and analysis of the problem, in particular: analysis of the pedagogical press and archival materials on the research problem; comparative and confrontation one to study the views of different scientists on the problem raised; systematization and generalization – for formulating conclusions.
Scientific novelty consists in summarizing the issue of the features of work of methodological associations for pedagogical workers of preschool institutions of the Ukrainian SSR.
Conclusions. In the process of research, the features of work of methodological associations of pedagogical workers of preschool institutions of the Ukrainian SSR in the 50-60-s of the 20th century were considered and determined. It is proved that methodological associations played a significant role in the development of professionalism and increasing the theoretical level of knowledge of workers of preschool institutions in the specified chronological period. It has been established that during the specified chronological period, methodological associations were conducted for educators of different age groups of children (younger, middle, older groups), managers, nurse-educators. In the content of the publications of the pedagogical press, the main tasks and forms of work with the pedagogues in the process of raising the professional level of pedagogical workers of preschool institutions have been defined, since they provided the opportunity for a quick exchange of experiences of the best pedagogues of the preschool field.
