A SYNERGY APPROACH IN FORMATION OF CRITICAL THINKING OF BACHELORS IN THE TRANSPORT INDUSTRY

Abstract

The development of critical thinking is one of the priorities in modern education, as the future specialist must be competitive and able to permanently update knowledge. The article proves the appropriateness of applying a synergetic approach to the formation of critical thinking of bachelors in the field of transport. The basic requirements for the formation of critical thinking of specialists taking into account the main provisions of the synergetic approach are proposed: the learning process ought to be an open system, i.e. consist of subsystems between which information is exchanged; it is necessary to enrich the educational process with synergetic teaching methods, in particular methods of stimulating learning, self-education; nonlinear dialogue of participants of the educational process.

Article’s purpose is to prove the significance and define the main directions of the implementation of synergy approach in formation of critical thinking of bachelors in the transport industry.

Methodology. General scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization) were used during the research. The methodological basis of the study is also the principles of science, historicism, objectivity, dialectics. Important in the context of the study is the position of synergetics as an interdisciplinary science.

The scientific novelty is that for the first time the importance of applying a synergetic approach to the formation of critical thinking of bachelors in the field of transport has been proved.

Conclusions. The demonstrated characteristics of the synergetic approach allow us to state that the use of its ideas and principles in teaching helps to optimize the processes of forming critical thinking of future specialists in the field of transport, enriching the educational process with techniques and methods of pedagogical interaction. The synergetic approach allows
bachelors in the field of transport to lay the foundation for the formation of a new nonlinear (synergetic) way of thinking.

As the next area of research we consider study the application of a synergistic approach to the formation of professional competencies of bachelors in the field of transport. The results of this research are expected to be used in writing methodological works on the study of disciplines in the field of transport, in further scientific and pedagogical work.
