FORMATION OF DIGITAL LITERACY OF FUTURE TEACHERS IN THE CONDITIONS OF DISTANCE LEARNING

The purpose of the article is to determine the features of the formation of digital literacy of future teachers in terms of distance learning.
Methodology. The study is based on a combination of the provisions of several theoretical and methodological approaches, in particular: activity, competence, personality-oriented, axiological. In the process of scientific research a number of general scientific and pedagogical methods were used, which ensured the objectivity and complexity of the research, in particular: analysis of the literature on the research problem – to determine the state of development of the issue and prospects of its research; comparison – to compare the views of different scientists; induction and deduction, systematization and generalization – to formulate conclusions; observation of the educational process and analysis of the results of educational activities of future teachers – to determine the effectiveness of the formation of the phenomenon under study.
Scientific novelty. Theoretical and practical aspects of the formation of digital literacy of future teachers in the conditions of distance learning by means of normative disciplines of the cycle of general and professional training are determined.
Conclusions. It is determined that digital literacy is a system of cognitive, social and technical skills that guarantee effective human life in the information environment, and hence in the process of distance education, which is a form of organization of the educational process, implemented through modern pedagogical, computer and telecommunication technologies, methods and means that allow to study without visiting an educational institution under the condition of systematic support by teachers.
The formation of digital literacy in future teachers will help to increase the efficiency of the educational process in general secondary education, as well as intensify the formation of skills to create, search, process, exchange information for teaching and private use. The use of distance forms and methods of teaching in the training of future teachers contributes to the formation of information culture in them, stimulates interest in mastering innovative teaching aids and application of information, encourages them to work independently, personal and professional development, promotes individualization of their professional development.
