PEDAGOGICAL VALUES OF FUTURE TEACHERS AS THE BASIS OF PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The goal of the work. The goal of the work is to reveal the essential characteristics of pedagogical values, to identify and substantiate the pedagogical values of the future teacher of practical training.

Methodology. The following research methods were used to solve this goal: theoretical (study and analysis of psychological and pedagogical, philosophical sources, official and normative documents; comparison and generalization of scientists ‘views on the problem) and empirical (observation of students’ educational process).

Scientific novelty. The article reveals the essence of the concept of «pedagogical values». It is emphasized that the formation of the value-semantic sphere of the personality takes place in the senior adolescence and adolescence, and training in pedagogical specialties ensures the formation of pedagogical values. In the article we highlight the values of future teachers of practical training, which are formed during professional training, namely: professional, national, universal, pedagogical. The following pedagogical values of future teachers of practical training are allocated: professional thinking; pedagogical creativity; independence and courage in defending their position; individual pedagogical style of communication with students; education; self-control; self-education; active pedagogical life.

Conclusions. Pedagogical values are the basis of professionalism of the individual and create the foundation of professional culture of the teacher. Therefore, it is necessary to form the personality of a teacher with a high spiritual culture, who could find a creative, unconventional way out of pedagogical situations. This is a complex of problems in the system of pedagogical training, which forces to search for new technologies that can ensure the achievement of this goal. To do this the future teacher must realize their uniqueness, the motives of their behavior, learn to comprehend the inner world of another person, to form a humanistic orientation, spiritual, moral and pedagogical values.
