Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to comprehend the expediencyand effectivity of advertising texts implication into the process of education; to demonstrate some speech culture tasks and exercises based on advertising texts.

Methodology. The issue of speech culture education was examined in many researches of lingua learning scientists. In particular teaching methods for speech culture education at secondary school are proposed by O. Biljajev, A. Boghush, M. Vashulenko, N. Gholub, N. Dyka, S. Dubovyk, O. Khoroshkovsjka etc. Thecultural-linguisticaspecthas a leading role in a linguistic personality formation of the future specialist, what is justified on a material of the works of N. Babych, K. Klymova, T. Okunevych, M. Pentyljuk, O. Semenogh, L. Strughanecj, O. Khoma, T. Khoma etc. The problem of speech culture shaping among the journalism applicants is presented in the works of N. Babych, O. Zhukova, N. Podoljako, O. Ponomariv, O. Serbensjka, L. Chernikova, M. Jacymirsjka and others.

Scientific novelty. In the offered article the author explains the effectiveness of using the ads texts to form a students’ cultural and linguistic personality; proves the ad’s versatilityas an optimallearning tool of communicative features of speech culture formation, which includes correctness, logic, preciseness, richness, distinctiveness, relevance, aesthetics, pragmatism; the examples of specific tasks and exercises are proposed.

Conclusions. The activity of students of journalistic specialties can be ensured by the systematic involvement of advertising texts on lessons. Practice has shown that the explorative and project technologies are the best to develop the exemplary of students’ language, gain the experience at editing and creating their own advertising texts. The problem of involving texts in stylistics lessons was revealed.
