STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERACTIVE COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Abstract

The article provides a theoretical and methodological analysis of views on the separation of structural components of interactive competence of future foreign language teachers. All structural components have been found to be closely related. It is established that the components of interactive competence reflect the development of subject-subject interaction of lecturer and future teacher from decision-making and goal-setting to their implementation in specific results in foreign language lessons.

Article’s purpose. To conduct a theoretical and methodological analysis of the views of scientists on the separation of structural components of the interactive competence of future foreign language teachers and to propose the author’s description of its structural components.

Methodology. The methodological basis of the article are general scientific methods, such as analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization, which have allowed to study the research material, explore the scientific views of scientists, determine the substantive characteristics of the structural components of interactive competence of future foreign languages teachers and draw conclusions. The use of problem-chronological method has helped to determine the degree of research of problems. Specific scientific methods have contributed to the development of scientific, educational and other literary sources.

Scientific novelty. The author’s system of distinguishing the structural components of interactive competence, which are closely interconnected, has been proposed.

Conclusions. The composition of any concept includes not only components that are integral properties, they are included, but also the links between them, so all the structural components of interactive competence (conceptual-target, stimulating-motivational, organizational-semantic, activity, control-regulated, performance-based evaluation) are in a natural relationship and together provide a certain result of the learning process.
