Abstract

The purpose of the article is to outline new projective information content that should be introduced into the training of future naval officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at higher military education institutions. The following approaches comprise the methodological basis of the study: task, activity, interdisciplinary, resource; principles: semantic analysis, the connection of theory with practice, unity of external influences and internal conditions, personality’s working activity; and methods: general scientific and specific scientific – analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, content analysis.

The scientific novelty is the projective information content of professional training of future naval officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defined in terms of reforming military education as one of the functional features of the administrative sphere of national military documents developed in accordance with NATO standards.

It is noted that the implementation of such projects as «Strategic Communications» will help increase the professionalism of graduates of military higher education institutions, in particular, to ensure interoperability during multinational international training, NATO coalition operations, and multinational operations of peace and security maintenance, «Partnership Objectives», «Military Standardization» etc. Mentioned above should increase the probability of successful completion of state defense tasks according to the probable scenarios if an emergent military situation arises. The professional training of future naval officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through a combination of operational, material, and administrative spheres confirms the complex nature of military education and the need for unity of external influences and internal conditions.

The content of the article led us to the following conclusions: increasing the level of professional training of future naval officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is provided through a comprehensive combination of new projective information content, in particular: implementation of the main content aspects of programs and projects (for example, «Strategic Communications,» «Partnership Goals», «Military Standardization», etc.) in the process of the cadets’ educational and professional training; improving the training facilities in accordance with the new military weapons and technical equipment and simulation capabilities of combat situations through the introduction into the educational process of simulators using VBS3 technology – Virtual Battlespace 3 in order to bring it to modern NATO requirements and standards; increasing the level of individual training of officers (future officers), in particular, through the formation of high morale, psychological fortitude, and physical fitness of basic
training command to perform tasks assigned and implemented in the training of NATO standards.
