Abstract

The article deals with the problem of individual health preservation competence issues introducing into the professional standards of various subject teachers training.

The purpose is to summarize practically the measures for the implementation of the content of teacher’s individual health preservation competence in the system of continuous pedagogical
education, which could become the basis for the development of appropriate components of educational standards of future teachers’ training.

Methodology. Methods of systematic generalization of the results of previous experimental studies, analytical and synthetic re-awareness and interpretation of the obtained data, schematic
and graphical representation of the generalized information were used.

Scientific novelty. Practical ways of realization the content of individual health preservation competence in future teachers training are substantiated. Possible roles and directions of activity in these processes of pedagogical higher educational institution as a whole, as well as of teachers and curators of academic groups in particular are shown.

Conclusions. The introduction of professional standards into the modern teachers’ professional training requires practical coherence and continuity between higher educational institutions and general secondary educational institutions, where the professional socialization of the young specialist will take place. The integrity of the educational environment organization in a higher educational institution and the systematic actions of university teachers in the development of individual health preservation competence in students – future teachers – are necessary
components of their training. The directions of university teachers’ activity on individual health preservation competence forming in students of pedagogical higher educational institutions,
presented in the article, are an example for implementation, which ensures the realization of the professional standard by introducing appropriate additions to the educational programs of future
teachers of different specialties training.
