USE OF INTERNET RESOURCES IN UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE LESSONS

Abstract

Scientific research has studied the role and features of the use of Internet resources in Ukrainian language lessons, as general secondary education institutions have an important task to educate a competent person who has knowledge, skills, high moral values, respects the spiritual and cultural heritage of mankind, is information literate. Thanks to Internet resources, distance learning is actively developed and introduced, the transition of education to a qualitatively new stage is realized, leading to the emergence of another new phenomenon of Internet education, which is spreading at a fairly rapid pace. For learning the Ukrainian language in educational institutions, Internet resources are extremely important, they increase the effectiveness of Ukrainian language lessons, create conditions in which all students are involved in active creative cooperation, learn to think critically, analyze, express and defend their own opinions. The teacher has a task to select those resources of the Internet that can be useful when learning the Ukrainian language, to know their list and be able to use them in the educational process.

The purpose of the article is to determine the role and features of the use of Internet resources in Ukrainian language lessons.

The methodological basis of the study is the theoretical aspects of higher education reform. The article uses methods of pedagogical research: analysis of scientific and theoretical concepts; study, synthesis, generalization of literature; monitoring the process of using Internet resources; generalization of pedagogical experience, in order to study the state of development of the researched problem.

The scientific novelty is the concretization of the concept of «Internet resources», the definition of the main advantages and disadvantages of using Internet resources in Ukrainian language lessons.

Conclusions. Internet resources are a powerful methodological and didactic tool for organizing and optimizing the educational process, improving the efficiency of the lesson, motivating students to master the knowledge of the Ukrainian language and more. Internet resources are today the most effective innovation in the education system, as they help improve the quality of education. Problems with the use of Internet resources include insufficient provision of students with computer equipment and access to the Internet.
