IMPLEMENTATION OF THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PRACTICAL COURSE OF THE SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE BY ZOOM

Abstract

The article considers the sense of distance learning and analyzes the use of possible web resources for online classes in various disciplines. Accepted attention to the specific features of the subject «foreign language».

The purpose of the article is to identify and analyze the possibilities of using the Zoom service to achieve the goals of foreign language learning in the practical course of the second foreign language of students of the Faculty of Philology. The main tools of the Zoom service and the possibilities of their use in foreign language classes are considered. Particular attention is paid to the use of the option «Session rooms» as the most effective opportunity to organize student work in pairs or groups in terms of distance learning.

Methodology. To achieve this goal, the paper used such theoretical research methods as analysis, synthesis, comparison and comparison, as well as empirical methods such as observation, survey and pilot training.

The scientific novelty is to outline the features and benefits of using the Zoom service to achieve the goals of foreign language learning while maintaining communicative forms and teaching methods that provide the conditions for the formation of speech competencies.

Conclusions. With the help of the technology of indirect active communication of teachers with students using telecommunication, as well as information technologies for creating, transmitting and storing educational materials, organizing and supporting the distance learning process, there are enough opportunities to organize the educational process according to purpose, goals, content, methods teaching each individual subject. To organize classes with PKDIM in synchronous distance learning mode, we have chosen the Zoom service for online conferences. The conditions and tools offered by this service are favorable and allow you to bring the form of online training as close as possible to the form of training in the normal mode. The options offered by Zoom allow you to take full advantage of various forms and methods of learning, apply communication techniques and develop four main types of language activities: listening, reading, writing, speaking.
