The article analyzes the significance of sensual experience, namely the attention of the article is focuses on the importance of art-therapeutic practices in working with students. The article examines the views on the issue of self-identification in photographic images as a form of socialization of a person, where a photo can act as a kind of psychological portrait. A vivid form of communication is the reflection of oneself and the surrounding reality through drawings, paintings and photo images. This led to the choice of further studies on phototherapy as therapeutic communication. The influence of visual information (paintings, photos, images) on the human psyche has not been studied enough, so this is the question that is gaining further scientific research.
The articles purpose is to analyze the impact of art and art therapeutic practices on the human body, in particular the possibilities of art therapy in working with students. To explore some aspects of the creative potential of human capabilities. In particular, to focus on artistic thinking, creative intuition, the sensory experience of empathy through art objects, to determine the importance of understanding the perception of reality with the help of art-therapeutic experience.
Methodology of the research is the provisions of the theory of knowledge; cultural approach to the study of art and art therapeutic practices in working with students.
Scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time in scientific research, art is considered on the example of art-therapeutic experience, which allows a deeper analysis of the issue of art-therapeutic practices in working with disabled students.
Conclusions. Art therapy is an effective tool in working with students, in working with the family and working with the school team. A comprehensive solution to issues of art therapy practices has great development prospects. The use of art therapy in the educational process requires further research.
