CONCEPT OF FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS’ SCIENCE PREPARATION IN UKRAINIAN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

Article’s purpose and methodology. It is stated that intensification of the processes of Ukraine integration into the European community and in particular to creation of a united educational space makes it necessary to bring the national higher education system in line with world standards. It is pointed out that one of the directions of its modernization is revision of conceptual approaches to the future specialists preparation in Ukrainian higher education institutions, including science preparation of future psychologists. The goal-forming component of the concept of future psychologists’ science preparation in higher education institutions has been isolated and substantiated aimed at specifying the purpose and main idea of the Concept developed by the author; theoretical and methodological component, which provides theoretical analysis of the basic of fundamental theories of modern education, the definition of conceptual and categorical apparatus, methodological approaches and principles of the Concept; contenttechnological – characterizes the content scope and strategy of the Concept and the analyticproductive, which presents empirical data that testify the truth of theoretical statements.

Scientific novelty. The main statement of the Concept was formulated according to which future psychologists science preparation in higher education institutions should be the basis of professional preparation, correspond to the basic statements of the fundamental theories of modern education, modern scientific achievements, have a professional direction; to be implemented with the help of such methodological approaches, principles and concepts that would reflect its specificity in the system of future specialists of other fields science preparation.

Сonclusions. It is noted the expediency of expanding the existing educational curriculum of such kind of preparation abe means of the integrative training course «Fundamentals of Modern Neurobiology» and the necessity of its implementation in accordance with the author’s higher level cognitive strategies based on rethought and modernized achievements of Greek ideas. It is stated that the quality control of science preparation of psychology students should be aimed at checking the knowledge they received during such training, the ability to use knowledge they obtained in practice, and to identify possible shortcomings in the process of science preparation implementation in order to quickly correct them.

It is stated that the presented research implies the necessity of developing a model of realization of the proposed ideas of future psychologists’ science preparation optimization in higher education institutions of Ukraine.
