Objective: To prove the problem of forming a healthy lifestyle.
Methodology: it is based on the general principles of philosophy, the basic modern aspects of pedagogics, physical education and depicts the relationship of methodological approaches to the study of the formation of a healthy lifestyle. Such methods as a comparative analysis, synthesis and abstraction are used to solve the aims of the research.
Scientific innovation: scientific and pedagogical approaches to solving the problem of forming a healthy way of life are revealed, ways and types of organizing a vital activity to ensure the safety and health promotion are grounded.
Conclusions: the article clarifies the concept of health, healthy way of life, the essence of the problem of person’s healthy lifestyle that is caused by the most complicated socio-economic and demographic situation in the country, negative trends on human medical status.
The synthesis of scientific approaches leads to the conclusion that health is a complex human condition that needs attention by controlling their own lifestyle, formation of proper culture and ideological orientation to health maintenance on the physical, psychological, spiritual and social levels. The concept of «healthy lifestyle» may be more determined by synthesizing the interdisciplinary fields of science – philosophy, psychology, pedagogics and physical education.
Nowadays the situation requires fundamental changes in the field of youth and social policy, where one of the main directions should be a healthy lifestyle of the population.
There is a necessity to develop the educational environment oriented to the preservation, strengthening and formation of pupils and students’ health. This environment should be based on active cooperation not only specialized ministries but also the young, their families and representatives of public authorities. The objectives of this interaction should be technology development due to motivation and active involvement of children and young people to a healthy lifestyle.
