THE PROBLEM OF INTRODUCTION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION

Abstract

In the XXI century, there is the search for the optimal model of the education system caused by the transformational processes taking place in modern society. Practical training and education, directly in a professional context, are important for the successful formation of a competitive personality. Moreover, a basic model of education has already been created in Europe, taking into account the intensification of social processes. Therefore, the issue of reforming the modern education system in Ukraine is rather important now. The development of the system of higher and secondary education requires the study and implementation of modern technologies and new teaching methods from pedagogical science and practice.

Innovative activity in Ukraine is provided by the Law of Ukraine «On priority directions of innovative activity in Ukraine» and by the State program of forecasting of scientific and technical development. We understand the innovations in education as a natural phenomenon, dynamic by origin and developing according to the results. Their implementation allows resolving the contradictions between the traditional system and the innovative one. The extensive use of new pedagogical methods will change the paradigm of education. Furthermore, information technology will help to most effectively implement the opportunities inherent in new pedagogical technologies.

The purpose of the work is to prove the need of usage modern information technologies in education and to identify their psychological and pedagogical features.

Methodology. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is determined by the approach, which is based on the principles of objectivity and integrity, as well as on a set of general and special research methods, which allowed ensuring the validity and reliability of scientific results. In particular, the dialectical method, thanks to which the author was able to present the subject of research in its essential social relationships and dependencies; the method of system analysis allowed to identify and substantiate the system components of the subject; the historical method, provided an opportunity to objectively explore patterns.

The scientific novelty of the article lies in gaining of further development of understanding the implementation of modern information technology.

Conclusions. Modern development of education is characterized by the intensive search for something new in the theory and practice of teaching. A separate important area of training a modern specialist is his innovative training, namely the need for knowledge about the essence of information and communication technologies, their pedagogical capabilities and feasibility in the educational process and the specifics of their application. When using them in teaching, the main components of the pedagogical activity of the teacher should be the processes caused by the organization of effective interaction aimed at achieving high results by his pupils.
