THE IMPORTANCE OF ADAPTABILITY MUSEUM PEDAGOGY MEANS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF TRAINING

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to determine the potential of museum pedagogy (museum and educational, cultural and social activities) to improve the quality of highly professional specialists’ training for various spheres of economy, including educational ones. The methodological basis consists of the following approaches: acmeological, activity, culturological, historical and civilizational; principles: integration of education and culture, interaction of theory and practice, unity of the historical and the logical, determinism; and methods: theoretical (general scientific – analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization) and experimental (observations, excursions). The scientific novelty of the article is to determine the potential of the means of museum pedagogy and their adaptive capabilities to the conditions in which people of a modern unstable society are found.

It is noted that the twenty-first century, as the age of changing ideological priorities, implies, in addition to their objection, preservation of historical and cultural values. Museum complexes as socio-cultural centres play a special role in this process. The peculiarities of the museum teacher’s activity and potential opportunities of regional museum complexes and virtual excursions are distinguished.

The following conclusions are made: museum complexes as socio-cultural centers are an integral part of the territorial communities, their activities contribute to the preservation of the historical memory and cultural heritage of the nation; museum and educational communication is a museum teacher’s leading function and competence; the role of virtual excursions by museum complexes in building educational process and improving future specialists’ training quality is increasing; the means of museum pedagogy have not lost their importance and potential for useful application to improve the quality and efficiency of the educational process of higher qualification personnel’s training. To determine the potential of regional museum complexes to improve the quality of the educational process and specialists’ professional training, and to determine the possibilities of museum pedagogy in conditions of the educational space digitalization are of further research.
