FORMATION OF CIVIC MATURITY IN THE PROCESS OF NATIONAL-PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION ACCESSORIES

Problem. Patriotism and national-patriotic upbringing are components of the national worldview and behavior of higher education seekers. The high level of patriotism of young people will ensure the full and comprehensive development of both students and Ukraine. The patriot of Ukraine must be ready to show national dignity, know and civilly defend their civil rights and responsibilities, promote civil peace and harmony in society, be a bearer of Ukrainian national culture.
The purpose of the proposed intelligence, analysis of patriotism and national-patriotic education of higher education as the basis of civic maturity.
The research methodology is based on the general principles of philosophy, basic modern principles of pedagogical science and reflects the relationship of methodological approaches to studying the process of national-patriotic education and the formation of civic maturity in higher education in Ukraine.
Object of research: educational process in higher education institutions of Ukraine.
Scientific novelty. It is substantiated that patriotism, national-patriotic education is the basis for the formation of civic maturity of higher education.
Conclusions. 1. A responsible task for higher education institutions is to educate a nationally conscious and patriotic generation of modern youth. 2. Patriotism is the basis of civic maturity of modern higher education. 3. We consider civic initiative and activity, patriotic consciousness and civic responsibility to be the main criteria of national-patriotic upbringing of higher education seekers. 4. The purpose of national-patriotic education in the universities of Ukraine is to educate young people in the spirit of patriotic duty, respect for military service and readiness to defend the Fatherland, respect for current legislation and the rule of law. 5. Clarification of domestic and foreign policy of Ukraine, Laws of Ukraine, decisions of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, education of respect for the legislative norms of the country promotes the formation of civic maturity.
