The purpose of the research is to reveal the main conceptual ideas of modelling the methods for professional image formation in future managers of education, the content and structure of the corresponding model, and pedagogical terms ensuring the effectiveness of the studied process during master's training.
Methodology. The research used methods of semantic and content analysis of master's training of future educational managers, generalization and systematization of approaches to determining the structure of the methods, and a method of modelling the system of pedagogical work for the formation of the professional image of master's students. The research is based on the position of interdisciplinary, systemic and creative-developmental approaches in the elaboration of the content of the methodical model.
The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the development of a model of the methods for professional image formation in future educational managers in their master's training, and its didactical support. The Methods has been defined as a schematic and formalized display of the system of pedagogical work, as a structured set of principles and approaches, forms, methods, techniques, technologies, stages, and pedagogical terms aimed at achieving the advantage of high and sufficient levels of formation of that complex personal phenomenon of the educational managers. Formative influences and tools have been structured into theoreticalmethodological, content-organizational and evaluation-resultative blocks. The stages of professional image formation in future educational managers (preparatory, developmental, formative and reflective ones), as well as pedagogical terms that contribute to the effectiveness of this process during master's training, have been developed and specified.
Conclusions. The analysis of the approbation results of the developed methods and its didactic support confirmed the expediency and effectiveness of the elaborated toolkit for professional image formation in future educational managers during their master's training. It has been defined that it should be a conscious and purposeful process.
