Abstract

The purpose of the study is to investigate the peculiarities of the selection and use of teaching aids in the context of reforming the educational sector and the formation of an innovative environment for the professional training of future technology teachers in a higher education institution.

Methodology. Various methods were used to achieve the goal: analysis of the legal framework and scientific literature – to characterize the views of scientists on the problem under study; comparative – in order to determine the specifics of the use of each of the described methods; induction and deduction, systematization and generalization – for formulating conclusions. In the research process, the provisions of several methodological approaches are taken into account, in particular, it is substantiated that within the framework of the implementation of the competence approach, the use of teaching aids should ensure the effective formation of general and professional competencies, which are defined in the educational and professional program; in the context of the implementation of the axiological approach, teaching aids must be selected taking into account the specifics of the motivational and value sphere and worldview orientations of future technology teachers; the culturological approach involves orientation to personal cultural development in the conditions of the educational environment; within the framework of the implementation of the subject-activity approach, the introduction of teaching aids should be based on the active involvement of future technology teachers in practical educational and, later, professional activities, which in the future should ensure that students project their own personal and professional development; in the context of the introduction of the professional approach, the selection of training tools should be aimed at the formation of professionally important qualities of the future specialist, the determination of possible directions of human development by means of the profession; the use of teaching aids from the standpoint of a synergistic approach should be aimed at forming the professional competence of future technology teachers as a holistic open educational phenomenon capable of self-organization and self-development under the influence of external factors.

Scientific novelty. The article examines the peculiarities of the selection and use of teaching aids for effective professional training of future technology teachers in a higher education institution in the context of reforming the educational sector and forming an innovative environment.

Conclusions. The analysis of scientific sources and the experience of practical activities prove that the methodologically correct and appropriate selection of teaching aids, as well as their application within the professional training of future technology teachers, will increase the effectiveness of the educational process in a higher education institution. It is proved that the choice of teaching methods should be made on the basis of the main methodological approaches (competent, cultural, axiological, subject-activity, professional, synergistic), it depends on the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in the institution of higher education, the level of formation of the innovative environment, as well as their compliance with educational tasks.
