The main direction of the article and the purpose of the work is to highlight the methodological experience of familiarizing students of pedagogical and classical specialties with the procedure of scientific psychological research in the cycle of introductory classes in psychology.
The article describes the content of practical work, during which it is possible to effectively, affordably and meaningfully acquaint students with the procedure of scientific psychological research. Practical work contains elements of competition, is interactive, close to life experience, meets modern requirements of psychology teaching methods. The nuances of the methodology of practical work, psychological comments are given.
The methodology is built on the basis of the experience of scientists and teachers who considered the issues and problems of the methodology of teaching psychology and the basis of scientific psychological research. In particular, work on the motivation and activation of students during practical work in psychology, the peculiarities of the pedagogical skill of a psychology teacher, the methodology and organization of scientific research in psychology.
The novelty of the work: for the first time, the method of familiarizing students with the procedure of scientific psychological research is described in detail. preparing students for writing course, bachelor's, master's theses, identifying gifted students who have scientific abilities.
Conclusions. The presented content and results of the experience of introducing the method of introducing students to the procedure of scientific psychological research in the cycle of introductory classes in psychology provide an opportunity to quickly master it by both experienced teachers and young specialists with minimal time spent on preliminary training and clarification of nuances.
