Abstract

The aim of the article is to theoretically substantiate the features of pedagogical modelling of the system for preparing future specialists in the computer field in the context of the development of the digital society.

Methodology. The study employs problem, systemic, and synergistic approaches, as well as general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, and generalization. This contributed to the design of a pedagogical model that demonstrates an open and dynamic system for training future computer professionals.

Scientific novelty. The article develops a pedagogical model for the preparation of future computer professionals and justifies the expediency of its implementation in the educational process.

The main goal of the process of pedagogical modelling is the study of the problem with the help of schematization of content and process characteristics within the defined goals. The method of pedagogical modelling contributes to the determination of effective directions for the training of future specialists in the computer profile, to ensure its systematicity and integrity; it will allow highlighting the main components and characteristics of the system of training future specialists in the computer profile. The proposed pedagogical model characterizes a system where the process of training future computer professionals involves taking into account the educational goals, content, forms and methods of their professional training, the peculiarities of the educational process, the development of digital technologies and the formation of the content and organization of the activities of education seekers.

Conclusions. The proposed pedagogical model represents a holistic, open, and dynamic system for training future computer professionals with characteristic properties of pedagogical systems – structural, hierarchical, and interdependence of all its elements. It is ready for implementation in the higher education process to assess its effectiveness based on the realization of defined organizational and pedagogical conditions.
