Abstract

The article analyzes the formation of economic knowledge among future teachers using innovative tools. It is noted that enterprising and financially literate teachers can educate innovative entrepreneurs, investors, and conscious taxpayers. The importance of future teachers obtaining economic knowledge in higher educational institutions is substantiated.

Goals and objectives. To characterize and identify innovative tools for developing economic knowledge, in particular, entrepreneurship and developing financial literacy among future teachers. Research methodology. The article uses an analysis of scientific sources at the philosophical and general scientific levels of knowledge.

The methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach to analysis and pedagogical research on the development of entrepreneurship among future teachers in higher education institutions.

The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the fact that the use of an integrated approach to the development of entrepreneurship and the formation of financial literacy among future teachers by studying courses in economics is systematized and justified. The conducted research allows us to conclude that the development of entrepreneurship and the formation of financial literacy among future teachers should be considered as an important factor in their professional training using innovative tools. We determine that future teachers’ mastery of economic knowledge is a significant factor in their professional growth and a resource for teaching practice. The knowledge and skills acquired by future teachers in the Western Educational Institution are equally necessary and important for both themselves and their students. Improving the teaching of economic and financial disciplines should become one of the priorities in the system of training future teachers.
