Abstract

The article focuses on such issues as preserving the mental health of Ukrainian schoolchildren in the conditions of martial law, the criteria for assessing the level of mental health of schoolchildren, the technologies of health preservation in the educational process of the new ukrainian school.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the importance of maintaining the mental health of schoolchildren in the war conditions, the need to implement innovative psychotherapeutic and psychogymnastic exercises and techniques in the educational process of the modern ukrainian school.

The research methodology consists in the analysis of scientific sources at the methodological, organizational and methodical levels of knowledge of mental health. The methodological basis of the research is a systematic approach to analysis of the pedagogical research on the necessity and importance of preserving the mental health of schoolchildren. Such a research methodology made it possible to determine and substantiate the peculiarities of school­children' s education with the use of health-saving technologies both in classrooms and outside.

The scientific novelty of the obtained results are such that the tasks regarding the preservation of mental health of schoolchildren in the conditions of martial law are substantiated and the outcomes of innovative psychological tools for supporting children of different ages are proved. Also defined as highly important are the creation of a positive psychological climate, a reasonable combination of various types of activities, a personality oriented approach and a proper organization of childrengapos active recreation.

Also considered are the different methods of psychological support available to teachers, practices that will help stabilize the psychological state of schoolchildren in stressful situations, depressive states caused by the consequences of war.

Resume. The conducted research allows us to draw conclusions that an important role and responsibility in health-related activities regarding the preservation and restoration of the mental health of schoolchildren is assigned to the educational system, which should and has all the facilities to make this process valeological. The modern educational process should be health-preserving, health-forming, health-enhancing, aimed at positive motivation for a healthy lifestyle, ensuring harmonious personality development, teaching habits of healthy life.
