Abstract

The article emphasizes that in accordance with the Educational and Professional Training Program for first-level higher education graduates – Bachelor – in the field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy of the specialty 014 Secondary Education (Musical Art), students must acquire special professional competence: the ability to demonstrate performance skills in the process of musical educational activity. It is emphasized that musical education of students includes performing and practical training, which includes various musical subjects. The task of instrumental performance and vocal training of students is considered. It is noted that the educational and musical material includes a variety of different musical works of various genres.

The purpose of the article: consider the peculiarities of the formation of executive competence of students in the process of executive and practical training.

Methodology. During the writing of the article, methods of analysis of scientific and methodical literature on art pedagogy and analysis of one's own music-pedagogical experience were used.

Scientific novelty: description of one's own music-pedagogical experience of professional training of students of music majors.

The structure of classes in musical and practical disciplines and the main principles of selecting the educational repertoire are considered: the unity of the artistic and technical, artistic value, genre and style diversity, multi-functionality.

It is emphasized that compulsory study includes musical works of various genres, as well as works from the school curriculum.

Conclusions. The use of diverse musical works of various genres in the education of students of music majors forms their performing competence, which allows them to achieve a professional level of performing skill.
