Abstract

The modern realities of reforming the penitentiary system require the improvement of professional training, a high level of formation of various components of the professional personnel competence of the criminal enforcement service, especially in the field of health preservation and life protection during the performance of official and professional activities.

The purpose of the article – is to reveal the peculiarities of educational coaching technology usage in the formation of psychophysical competence of penitentiary personnel.

The methodology is based on modern provisions of pedagogical science, psychology and reflects the relationship of methodological approaches to the study of the process of psychophysiological components formation of the professional competence of the penitentiary system personnel.

Scientific novelty. The conducted research made it possible to identify the main approaches to the application of coaching technology for the formation of psychophysical competence of penitentiary staff.

Conclusions. The author of the article justified the use of coaching as a tool for psychophysical competence formation of penitentiary staff of various categories.

The results of the study made it possible to draw conclusions that the use of coaching technology is indeed a good tool not only for scientific and methodological support of educational activities, but also a technology for developing the personal potential of a penitentiary specialist and motivation for improving psychophysical competence throughout life.
