Abstract

The article presents the results of own experimental research on determining the effectiveness of the use of physical culture and health facilities in the physical education of younger teenagers living in rural areas. The relevance of the research topic lies in the urgent problem of preserving and strengthening the health of younger teenagers, since the results of scientific research testify to the persistent negative dynamics of the state of health of schoolchildren. Considering the problem of the development of physical education and sports in rural areas, scientists testify to the need to create conditions for physical education and sports activities of the rural population.

The purpose of the study is to experimentally check the effectiveness of the use of physical culture and health facilities in a general secondary education institution in rural areas.

Methodology. To implement the main tasks of the research, in addition to theoretical methods, the following were used: pedagogical – observation, testing, pedagogical experiments; physiological and methods of mathematical statistics.

The scientific novelty of the research consists in improving the content of physical culture and health work with rural school teenagers through the introduction of innovative author's technologies and methods.

Conclusions. Improvement of the content of physical education took place thanks to innovative author's methods, namely: integrated lessons in movement; personally oriented approach in physical education; health-forming technology of sports-oriented physical education, program of sports and games training for primary school students; tourist and local history activities using elements of children's tourism. The introduced method of using physical culture and health facilities in the physical education of students of grades 5-6 of a small rural school gave positive results and is effective.
