Abstract

This article examines the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improve the effectiveness of educational practices, with a focus on the specific tasks of a technology teacher. The analysis includes both the advantages and disadvantages of using AI tools in technology education. The study considers AI technology’s potential for planning and organizing the educational process, as well as for creating various didactic materials.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the practical application of artificial intelligence tools in the professional activities of a technology teacher to enhance the efficiency of educational planning, organization, and development of didactic resources.

Research methods: The study uses analysis and systematization of scientific publications and pedagogical experiences related to the research topic, along with interpretation and generalization of results.

The scientific novelty of this study lies in identifying the potential of AI-based services to increase the effectiveness of technology teachers’ pedagogical activities.

Conclusions: Modern AI technologies have rapidly entered the educational field, bringing significant changes to both students’ learning activities and teachers’ work. The integration of AI in education has both positive and negative aspects. The primary benefit is that teachers gain new capabilities, including a powerful virtual assistant that can greatly enhance their productivity. AI-based services significantly speed up lesson planning, the development of practical tasks, and the creation of diverse educational content (such as presentations, instructions, technological maps, images, worksheets, scribing, stories, etc.), as well as the design of assessment materials (e.g., tests, questionnaires). Moreover, these tools are a valuable motivational resource for modern students, fostering greater emotional engagement and gamification in the learning process.
