The article analyses the state of higher education, which is rapidly moving towards blended learning. It has been found that the blended learning model combines distributed information and educational resources in full-time learning with distance learning elements. The possibilities of studying technical subjects in blended learning conditions are investigated. Particular attention is paid to implementing the project methodology in the Technological Workshop course. Considering the advantages and risks that can be encountered in a blended learning environment, we have revealed the potential of the project-based learning methodology in the study of technical subjects in a blended learning environment and the peculiarities of project implementation at different stages of design. The article outlines the creation of conditions for the effective completion of the educational process using specialised software tools for mastering theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The work aims to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of the blended learning model and determine whether it can be effectively applied to studying technical subjects.
Methodology. Systematisation and study of scientific publications, analysis of scientific and educational literature, Internet sources, disclosure of the main definitions of the problem under study, generalisation and conclusions.
Scientific novelty. It consists in identifying the contradictions that have arisen at the present stage of education, which complicates communication between the links of the educational process.
Conclusions. Blended learning in modern realities can be effective and carry great potential in the study of technical courses, which is why we consider it as a model for the comprehensive development of students, which increases the level of independence, allows you to put more information in certain courses and develop the ability to self-education.
