Abstract

The article presents approaches to the training of bachelors in vocational education (Transport) aimed at developing professional competence; the structure of professional competence is revealed, which includes: professional knowledge and technical literacy; pedagogical skills and methodological competences; practical skills and mastery; communication competences; personal qualities and ethical values; innovative and digital competences. The article emphasises the importance of an integrated approach to the formation of professional competence and reveals the main directions, namely, the use of practice-oriented learning, interactive methods and reflection in learning.

The purpose of the article is to reveal the structure and peculiarities of professional competence formation in the training of bachelor's students majoring in Vocational Education (Transport).

Methodology. The methodology of our study is based on activity-based, competence-based and integrative approaches that provide a comprehensive approach to the formation of professional competence of bachelors in vocational education (Transport).

The scientific novelty lies in an integrated approach to the formation of professional competence of bachelors in vocational education (Transport), in the development of innovative approaches, methods and technologies that contribute to the development of theoretical and practical skills, as well as personal qualities necessary for modern professional requirements.

Conclusions. An integrated approach to the formation of professional competence of bachelors in vocational education (Transport) is the simultaneous use of various methods, forms and means of teaching that ensure the harmonious development of both professional knowledge and pedagogical skills. This approach contributes to the training of teachers who are able not only to provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the theory, structure, operation, repair, maintenance of a car, but also to effectively organise the educational process, motivate students and adapt to the modern requirements of the labour market. Through a combination of theoretical, practical and pedagogical training, students acquire knowledge that not only deeply covers the technical component, but also provides the ability to transfer this knowledge to their students.
