The purpose of the article is to analyze the use of Internet applications and platforms in the educational process of higher education institutions and to identify their effectiveness.
Methodology. The methodological basis for the use of Internet applications and platforms used to organize educational processes in higher education institutions is indicated in the works: T. Gorobets, O. Skorobagatskaya and N Statsenko. They consider the features and problems of digitization of higher pedagogical education. V. Krasnoshtan and M. Fedorov investigated the preparation of the future teacher for the use of computer training technology and identified the main directions of using computer technologies in the pedagogical process of higher education, and also determined the advantages of organizing the independent work of students using information technology. L. Tkachenko and S. Khmelnitsky investigated the specifics of the introduction of distance learning in higher education, which is inextricably linked with computer technology. Among the Ukrainian scientists who paid attention to the use of computer technologies under martial law and considered ways to improve the educational process in such conditions, we can distinguish O. Klimenko, M. Levchenko, S. Fedenko and A. Forostyan.
The scientific novelty lies in the analysis of applications and platforms introduced into the educational process of the Internet to prepare students in the conditions of distance learning for professional activity.
Conclusions. After analyzing the nature and features of the use of Internet applications and platforms in higher education, it was found that their use has become especially relevant due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. However, it is worth noting that Internet applications and platforms have previously been used in educational processes in full-time format. The use of Internet applications and platforms in education allows you to ensure the continuity of learning, carry out distance learning and ensure the safety of students and teachers in difficult conditions.
