COMMUNITY-ORIENTED LEARNING AS AN INNOVATIVE FORM OF TEACHER EDUCATION IN UKRAINE

The purpose of the work there is an analysis of the features of socially oriented education as an innovative form of professional training of future teachers.
Methodology. The study used general scientific methods, such as analysis of scientific literature and Internet sources covering the concept of socially oriented learning and its benefits; systematization and generalization, which allowed to draw conclusions from the results.
Scientific novelty is to clarify the essence of the concept of “socially oriented learning”; to define socially oriented learning as an important tool for the professional training of future teachers; to justify the need to introduce socially oriented learning into teacher education. It is also noted that socially-oriented learning is an innovative form of education that is focused on the formation of future teachers' sense of responsibility for their contribution to the development of society.
Conclusions. Socially-oriented learning contributes to the formation of future teachers' deep understanding of their role in society and responsibility for their actions. Students learn to understand social problems. Socially-oriented learning is an important aspect of modern teacher education, as it contributes to the formation of conscious and responsible citizens who are able to actively participate in solving society's problems and respond to the challenges of today. Successful implementation of socially-oriented learning is an important step that can significantly improve the quality of teacher education and have a positive impact on society. Thus, socially-oriented learning provides an opportunity to link the process of forming pedagogical competencies in students with elements of civil society and thus contribute to the development of skills related to the values of civil society.
