PROJECT ACTIVITY IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING FUTURE TEACHERS OF TECHNOLOGIES

The article reveals the essence of the concept of “project activity”. The main theoretical and applied aspects of preparing future teachers of technologies to organize project-based learning for students of general secondary education institutions are described. To prepare future teachers of technologies for pedagogical activity, it is necessary to build a training system that is focused on the formation of readiness to use project activities.
The purpose of the article is to study the problem of preparing future teachers of technologies to organize students' project activities in general secondary education institutions.
Research methodology. To achieve this goal, the following research methods were used: analysis and synthesis of pedagogical and psychological literature on the research topic, observation of the students' learning process, as well as interpretation and generalization of the results.
The scientific novelty lies in clarifying the essence of the concept of “project activity” and identifying the main aspects of training future teachers of technologies to organize students' project activities in general secondary education institutions.
Conclusions. Project activity in the educational process is an independent, highly motivated, research, cognitive and labor activity aimed at creating a learning project under the guidance of a teacher.
Project activity in the training of future teachers of technologies contributes to increasing the level of professional self-development, improving professional skills and creative abilities, as well as strengthening their personal value and significance in the professional sphere. Such activity helps to work with large amounts of information, develops critical thinking, develops skills for solving non-standard tasks, and also improves psychophysical qualities necessary for professional training. It contributes to the development of professional readiness, supports professional self-development, forms creative thinking and contributes to the formation of future specialists as competent professionals.
