Abstract

The article considers the problem of forming professional qualities of future education managers as a current task of modern pedagogical theory and practice.

The purpose of the work is to identify the key components of the competency model of an education manager, analyze the effectiveness of the use of innovative educational technologies and practice-oriented forms of learning, and develop recommendations for improving curricula and methodological support. The study uses a comprehensive approach that combines methods of theoretical analysis, comparative research, and analysis of the practical experience of leading Ukrainian researchers.

The methodology is based on the principles of the competency approach, the concepts of active learning and continuous education. In particular, the case method, business games, simulation trainings, as well as questionnaire and expert assessment methods were used to identify the level of development of management skills in students.

During the study, it was found that more than 60% of pedagogical faculties have introduced courses in project management, but only 40% of students had the opportunity to participate in real internships in their specialty. It was also found that about 45% of programs contain simulation trainings, but only a third of them provide deep immersion in complex management situations.

The scientific novelty of the work lies in the integration of modern technologies of distance learning and anti-crisis management into a single model of professional training of an education manager, as well as in the development of criteria and indicators for assessing the level of development of competencies. The results of the analysis of the current state of training of educational managers in Ukrainian higher education institutions revealed the following main problems: the inconsistency of the content of the programs with real challenges, insufficient funding of innovative initiatives, limited participation of practicing managers in the educational process and low integration of interdisciplinary projects.

The conclusions of the study confirm that the systematic combination of theoretical principles, innovative technologies and practice-oriented forms of training creates an effective basis for the formation of professional qualities of future educational managers. The proposed approaches will contribute to improving the quality of management of educational institutions, ensuring sustainable development of the educational system and strengthening public trust in the profession of educational manager.
