The article explores the significance of a healthy lifestyle for educational leaders as a key condition for effective management. It analyzes theoretical and practical aspects of the influence of physical and psychological well-being on leadership performance. The study highlights key components of a healthy lifestyle, justifies their impact on various managerial functions, and offers practical recommendations for forming and maintaining healthy habits among education managers.
Purpose. To justify the role of a healthy lifestyle of an educational institution head as a determinant of management effectiveness.
Methodology. To achieve the set goal, a set of methodological approaches was used, including the analysis of scientific literature on pedagogy, management psychology and health care, systematization and generalization of existing research, as well as theoretical modeling of the relationship between a leader's healthy lifestyle and the effectiveness of managing an educational institution.
Scientific novelty.The study consists of a comprehensive analysis of the impact of a leader's healthy lifestyle on the effectiveness of managing an educational institution in the Ukrainian context. For the first time, the key components of a leader's healthy lifestyle have been systematized and their impact on various aspects of managerial activity has been substantiated.
Conclusions. The study findings emphasize that a leader’s healthy lifestyle is an essential condition for successful management of an educational institution. The physical and psychological well-being of a leader contributes to increasing his or her efficiency, stress resistance, ability to make informed decisions, communicate effectively with the team, and create a favorable working atmosphere.
