The study corresponds to the search methodology for improving human physical capabilities according to the conceptual representation of the technology for development of human physical qualities by content: concept, definition, regime, "process". The system of considerations is considered regarding the motor patterns which have experimentally confirmed the use of the latest proven methods, as well as the development technologies and effectiveness. The study helps to smooth out to some extent the emerging contradictions between researchers and specialists in these issues, at the same time allowing to expand the discussion space. It should be noted that a lot of studies have been conducted on the development of human physical qualities whereas each one can exist if confirmed by practice.
The purpose of the study is to strengthen the theoretical consideration of the mechanism of human physical qualities development based on practical examples. According to the task, procedural rules are determined during the development of individual physical qualities, considering the maximum and minimum capabilities of people.
The technology of developing physical qualities and their assimilation refers to the theory of activity and corresponds to the basic principles of the process, namely from knowledge and abilities to skills and results.
The methodological basis is based on classical research methods: the method of analysis, the dialectical method, explanation and generalization.
The scientific novelty of the article lies in the presentation of methods and approaches to the development of physical qualities, which are both generally theoretically recognized by the entire sports world and which are specific, requiring clarification of procedural rules, methods, and approaches to their development, in particular speed, duration, strength, flexibility, agility, and coordination and motor abilities.
Conclusions. As a result of the study, it was found that the development of the same physical quality requires different targeted approaches and methods according to the purpose of their use.
The mechanism of qualities’ developing and consolidating depends on the creation of muscle memory.
