Abstract

The article examines the role of training specialists in physical education and sports for organizing and conducting various types of tourism activities. The main disciplines of tourism training are identified, which form general and professional competencies, in particular the ability to analyze one's own activities, find ways to achieve practical results and apply them in various pedagogical situations.

The purpose of the study is to diagnose the criteria and levels of readiness of physical education and sports specialists to organize and conduct tourism activities by introducing modern learning technologies into the educational process.

Methodology. Theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, analysis, synthesis, testing, pedagogical experiment, method of mathematical statistics, disclosure of the main definitions of the problem under study, generalizations and conclusions.

Scientific novelty. The four-level computer testing system we have proposed allows for a differentiated assessment of the state of professional readiness of higher education applicants for organizing and conducting tourism activities.

Conclusions. Analysis of recent research allows us to state that today in Ukraine there has been a significant increase in interest in training specialists in physical education and sports for the organization and conduct of tourism activities. The readiness of physical education and sports specialists to organize and conduct tourist activities was assessed at four levels (low, sufficient, medium, and high) within the structural components according to the following criteria (indicators): motivational component, activity-orientation, and reflective component.

The methodology for diagnosing the level of readiness of physical education and sports specialists to organize and conduct tourist activities is based on the following general provisions: the study of readiness is carried out component by component, it is aimed at diagnosing the level of development of motivational, activity-orientation and reflective components; to study the motivational and reflective components, such research methods as questionnaires and testing should be used; when analyzing the activity-orientation component, it is necessary to use a complex consisting of tests, practical tasks and expert assessment of work results; a separate definition of the level of manifestation of each of the criteria for the readiness of higher education applicants to organize and conduct tourist activities is provided; this approach allows you to isolate the components with the least manifestation in the structure of readiness and promptly correlate them.
