PHYSICAL CULTURE AS A TOOL FOR FORMING AND STRENGTHENING THE HEALTH-PRESERVING POTENTIAL OF OFFICERS OF RISK OR DANGEROUS PROFESSIONS

The article discusses the relevance of developing health-saving competence and healthsaving potential of officers of risk or dangerous professions in the context of modern challenges, in particular war and extreme situations. It highlights the importance of physical culture as a key tool for ensuring the physical and psychological resilience, vitality, and professional readiness of officers to perform their official and professional duties in risky conditions.
It is determined that without an adequate level of physical training and health preservation skills, officers of risk or dangerous professions will not be able to provide effective protection, security, and assistance to the civilian population in extreme situations. The author's interpretation of the concept of «health-preserving potential of an officer in a high-risk profession» and the need to integrate health-preserving technologies into the system of professional education, training, and retraining of officers of risk or dangerous professions are substantiated.
The purpose of the article is to highlight the role of physical culture as a tool for influencing the formation and strengthening of the health-saving potential of officers of risk or dangerous professions.
The research methodology is based on the analysis, generalization, and systematization of information sources and regulatory documents on the training of officers of risk or dangerous professions – law enforcement officers, rescuers, and military personnel.
Scientific novelty. A comprehensive study was conducted, the results of which made it possible to determine the mobilisation values of physical culture and its influence on the formation of health-saving competence and health-saving potential of officers of risk or dangerous professions.
Conclusions. The authors of the article propose introducing innovative methods for training officers of risk or dangerous professions with the aim of increasing the role and influence of physical culture in developing their health-preserving potential.
