Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to provide a theoretical justification and experimental verification of the effectiveness of implementing health-preserving technologies in the process of physical education of schoolchildren. Special attention is paid to analyzing their impact on students’ physical development, psychological well-being, and motivation, as well as to identifying pedagogical conditions that ensure the success of this approach within the framework of the New Ukrainian School.

Methodology. A complex of complementary research methods was applied, including theoretical analysis of scientific sources, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, physical fitness testing, and a pedagogical experiment supported by mathematical statistics. During the experiment, individualization of physical loads, interactive teaching methods, and digital monitoring tools for assessing students’ physical condition were implemented.

Scientific novelty. For the first time, the effectiveness of an integrated use of health-preserving technologies in school physical education has been substantiated. This approach combines optimization of the motor regime, psychological support, and digital monitoring of students’ activity. It was established that the implementation of these technologies contributes not only to the improvement of physical indicators (by 10–13%) but also to a significant increase in students’ motivation for physical activity (by 18–20%). The research confirmed their positive influence on psychological comfort, reduction of anxiety, and the development of a responsible attitude toward health.

Conclusions. The results of the pedagogical experiment confirmed the research hypothesis: systematic implementation of health-preserving technologies in physical education is an effective means of improving schoolchildren’s physical fitness, motivation, and psychological well-being. The developed recommendations for physical education teachers are aimed at integrating physical activity, psychological support, and digital control into the educational process. The proposed approach can be applied in general secondary education to enhance the system of physical education and to promote the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture among students.
