Abstract

The article outlines the features of planning, organization and implementation of educational activities for the training of masters (teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature). The purpose of the publication is to demonstrate how the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine regarding the modernization of higher education, rethinking theoretical approaches and the accumulated work practices of educational institutions for the preparation of candidates for the second level of higher education are taken into account, and the educational program is agreed in accordance with the credit-module system within the scope of the implementation of the OPP by subject specialty 014.01 Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature).
Methodology. In the process of scientific research, a complex of various methods was used, which ensured the reliability and objectivity of the research, in particular: analysis of the regulatory and legal framework and scientific literature – in order to determine the state of development of the problem and prospects for its research; comparison – to compare the views of different scientists on the investigated problem; induction and deduction, systematization and generalization – for formulating conclusions.
The research was carried out on the basis of a combination of the provisions of a number of methodological approaches, in particular: competence (to determine the integral, general and professional competences of the students of education), activity (involvement of stakeholders, graduates and students in the discussion and evaluation of the educational program), axiological (taking into account the peculiarities of the formation of «flexible skills» and value-viewpoints of future language teachers) – which are applied on the basis of complementarity and compliance with the purpose of the study.
Scientific novelty. The authors of the article characterized the educational and professional program 014.01 Secondary education. Ukrainian language and literature, which is implemented on the basis of the Chernihiv Collegium National University named after T.G. Shevchenko was accredited in 2021 by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education, in the context of today's requirements and European integration processes.
Conclusions. The article emphasizes the original elements of the program, offers a few selective educational disciplines for familiarization. It was established that the program is not frozen and hermetic, it is focused on determining the level of assimilation of the system of scientific knowledge, which characterizes the general foundations of pedagogy; elucidation of the level of formation of the system of analytical, prognostic, projective and reflective skills that determine the level of the teacher's theoretical activity; elucidation of the level of formation of the system of organizational and communicative skills, which characterize the practical readiness of the teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature of the high school to perform his functions.
