The article examines the structural organization of the arts sector in Ukraine, which is a determining factor for the formation of quality criteria in the process of training bachelors; substantiates the realities of national arts education, European experience and compares their educational initiatives; identifies steps to improve the arts sector at the bachelor's level.
The purpose of the work. To highlight the current state of achievements and upgrade of arts education systems in Ukraine and abroad.
Research methodology. Theoretical exegesis of semantic, contextual, substantive discourse; synthesis, induction and deduction to substantiate the essence and structure of international educational and artistic content; polysystemicity – identifying synectics of artistic, pedagogical, cultural and educational activities of Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions; comparative – measuring the features of the functioning of musical institutions in Ukraine and abroad; study and generalization of pedagogical experience – analysis of real teaching practices (implementation of sonorics, intermedial technologies) in Ukrainian and European higher education institutions.
The scientific novelty of the publication lies in the implementation of a holistic comparative analysis of the content and technologies of training bachelors of art specialties in Ukraine and EU countries in the context of modern challenges (digitalization, intermediality and development of emotional intelligence); further development of the strategy for integrating European experience (in particular, the concept of an individual educational trajectory of a singer-interpreter) into Ukrainian higher school without losing national performing identity.
Conclusions. Modern international experience in training bachelors in the art sphere indicates that developed countries are aware of the enormous value of art. It is considered an important tool for preserving national and cultural heritage, as well as a key factor in social, economic and educational progress. That is why the success of the art education systems of European countries encourages the study of their advanced methods, which can be successfully integrated into the domestic undergraduate educational process.
