Abstract

Purpose: to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the model of resource provision of interdisciplinary connections of English in the virtual educational environment of professional training of bachelors of technological and vocational education.

Methodology: a complex of theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization of scientific sources) and empirical (pedagogical experiment, survey, testing, statistical data processing) methods was used. The study involved 186 students of specialty 015 «Vocational Education» and 015.37 «Labor Education and Technologies» from three higher education institutions in Ukraine.

Scientific novelty: a structural-functional model of resource provision of interdisciplinary connections of English in the virtual educational environment of professional training of bachelors of technological and vocational education has been developed for the first time; pedagogical conditions for the implementation of the model have been substantiated.

Conclusions: the effectiveness of the proposed model has been experimentally confirmed, which contributes to increasing the level of formation of students' foreign language professional competence by 18.5% compared to the control group.
